Sakuna Privacy Policy

Your data belongs to you

Sakuna holds the truth you give it — nothing more. No location tracking, no HealthKit integration, no third-party data brokers, and no sale of your data. Calibration is by your honest input only; product analytics are limited to app improvement and launch measurement. Sakuna is a simulation and education product, not financial advice.

1. What we collect

• Account details: Email address and display name used to identify your account.
• Twin calibration: Financial and lifestyle decisions you enter during calibration — used only to model your Twin.
• Simulation history: Every simulation you run and its outcome, stored on your account.
• Mission completions: Which missions you log and when, to track your progress over time.
• Feedback (optional): Any notes you choose to send us through the feedback form.
• Product analytics: Anonymous app activity like screen views, feature use, and purchase events so we can improve Sakuna.

2. How we use it

• Power your Twin's simulations and trait calculations.
• Show you personalised missions aligned to your current life state.
• Generate the Annual Review at year-end.
• Let you export or delete your data at any time.

3. Your rights

• Export all your data as JSON from Settings → Data.
• Permanently delete your account and every associated record.
• Request a manual review or correction through Sakuna Support.
• We never sell your data to third parties — ever.

4. Where your data lives

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run Sakuna:

• Supabase: Hosting and database. Your account and simulation data are protected by row-level security, so only you can read your own records.
• App Store & Google Play (via RevenueCat): Subscriptions are billed and managed by the app stores; we use RevenueCat to verify entitlements. We never see or store your card details.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: If you enable notifications, we use a device push token to deliver reminders and alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time.
• Google AdMob: Sakuna may show ads through AdMob. Ads are requested as non-personalized and the app performs no cross-app tracking — so there is no App Tracking Transparency prompt.

5. Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and every associated record at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my data inside the app. Full step-by-step instructions are on our account deletion page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

6. Children

Sakuna is intended for adults making real-world financial and business decisions. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Sakuna evolves. Material changes will be reflected here and, where appropriate, in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated policy.
